NOMAD FASHION SHOW

Por tercer año consecutivo The Style Outlets, la marca de outlets líder en España, organiza Nomad Fashion Show en Madrid.

La cita tendrá lugar los próximos días 1 y 2 de junio en el Club Alma, en pleno barrio de Salamanca,  en la calle Príncipe de Vergara, 9.

For the third consecutive year The Style Outlets, the leading outlet brand in Spain, is organizing the Nomad Fashion Show in Madrid.

The event will take place on the 1st and 2nd of June at Club Alma, in Madrid, at Calle Principe de Vergara, 9 ..

La modelo y presentadora Nieves Álvarez será la embajadora excepcional de este evento, junto con la también modelo Laura Sánchez, encargada de alguno de sus talleres.

The model Nieves Álvarez will be the exceptional ambassador of this event, along with Laura Sánchez, in charge of one of her workshops.

Moda, arte y gastronomía serán los protagonistas de estos dos días cargados de moda al más puro streetstyle:

Workshops y charlas interesantísimas impartidas por influencers, diseñadores y firmas y profesionales del mundo de la moda: Laura Sánchez, Modesto Lomba, el director creativo de Ángel Schlesser,  Marta Carriedo, la directora de Telva Olga Ruíz o la directora de Yo Dona Marta Michel, serán algunos de los maestros de excepción con los que se contará en esta edición., pero habrá muchos más. 

Y como lo gastro también es trendy, no faltarán las catas y los showcookings de la mano de grandes chefs como Iván Cerdeño, David González Arjona o Javier Aranda

La música estará presente con Dj´s como Javier de Miguel y conciertos de David Ascanio, Maximiliano Calvo, Modo Avión o Lucía Carmona.

Además, para los amantes de la relajación y el fitness, se encontrarán con un espacio dedicado al yoga o de ballet ,  y para terminar nada mejor que ponernos guapas en la sala beauty con peluquería, manicura, masajes...

KOREAN BEAUTY

Todos hemos oído hablar de lo que se cuidan las asiáticas, el culto a la belleza es una de sus señas de identidad desde tiempos inmemorables. Quizás ahora que nos preocupamos aún más si cabe estar guapas, esta cultura despierta mucho interés entre el resto de las mortales.

Dicen que empiezan desde bien pequeñas con su rutina diaria, no menos de 20 minutos, entre limpieza, sérums, tónicos, cremas…y lo cierto es que lucen una piel estupenda.

Yo de momento estoy probando sus mascarillas,  a ver qué tal…

BROOKLYNG BRIDGE

Uno de los paseos más bonitos que no hay que perderse si vas a Nueva York es cruzar el puente de Brooklyng, símbolo histórico de esta ciudad.

Este puente acabó su construcción en 1883, y sirvió para unir los distritos de Manhattan y Brooklyng. Dicen que se tardó 13 años en terminarlo y que al acabar se convirtió en el puente colgante más largo del mundo...!

Como curiosidad cuentan que poco después de su inauguración se desató un rumor de que el puente podría caerse, para demostrar que no era cierto, P.T Barnum, encargado de un circo, desfiló sobre el con 21 elefantes....

Pero antes de pasear por este puente os recomiendo hacer una parada en DUMBO, palabra que viene del inglés Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass.
Situado en la orilla del East River, en el barrio de Brooklyn, fue durante muchos años una zona bastante degradada, ahora se ha puesto muy de moda en Nueva York, sobre todo entre artistas, y se ha llenado de edificios reconstruidos y galerías de arte...Algunos incluso se atreven a llamarlo el Nuevo Soho!!!! las vistas desde aquí son espectaculares!!!!

One of the most beautiful walks that you should not miss if you go to New York is to cross the Brooklyng Bridge, the historic symbol of this city.

This bridge finished its construction in 1883, and served to unite the districts of Manhattan and Brookyng. It took 13 years to complete it and that it ended up becoming the longest suspension bridge in the world ...!

CENTRAL PARK

Esta semana he estado en la ciudad de los rascacielos: NEW YORK. 

Ciudad cosmopolita como ninguna, moderna, universal, donde es imposible no alzar la mirada al cielo y sentirte como una auténtica enana entre tanto edificio alto. 

Hacía tiempo que no visitaba esta ciudad, en esta ocasión en familia, sin parar de hacer planes y visitar hasta el último rincón.

Empezaré por mi visita a Central Park, maravilloso parque que además en primavera está precioso. No hay neoyorkino que se precie que no vaya los fines de semana, bien a practicar algún deporte (verás bicicletas, patinadores, gente bailando), o simplemente a pasear.

This week I've been in NEW YORK.

Cosmopolitan city like no other, modern, universal, where it is impossible not to look up to the sky and feel like a true dwarf between so much tall building.

It had been a while since I visited this city, this time with my family, walking around and visiting every corner.

I will start with my visit to Central Park, a wonderful park that is beautiful in spring. There is no New Yorker that not go on weekends, either to practice some sport (you will see bicycles, skaters, people dancing), or just to walk.

Central Park limita al norte con Harlem, al este con la quinta avenida (donde están todas las tiendas más lujosas) y al sur con el hotel Plaza, uno de los hoteles emblemáticos. Por cierto, justo enfrente de este hotel podrás dar un paseo en coches de caballos, ideales para dar conocer de otra manera esta gran ciudad, aunque confieso que bastante caros, pero el que pueda merece la pena!

Alrededor de este parque también están algunos de sus maravillosos museos: Guggenheim, MET (Metropolitan), el de Historia Natural....

Un dato importante: si vas al MET no olvides subir al Roof top, el ascensor que te lleva está un pelín complicado de encontrar, pero las búsqueda merecerá la pena, las vistas desde aquí son espectaculares!

Central Park is bordered to the north by Harlem, to the east by the fifth avenue (where all the most luxurious shops are located) and to the south by the Plaza Hotel, one of the emblematic hotels. By the way, right in front of this hotel you can take a ride in horse-drawn carriages, ideal to give another way to know this great city, of course a little quite expensive, but it´s spectacular! 

Around this park are also some of its wonderful museums: Guggenheim, MET (Metropolitan), Natural History ....

An important tip: if you go to the MET do not forget to go to the roof top, the elevator that takes you is a little difficult to find it, but the search will be worth it, the views from here are spectacular!
